What this practice covers
Three ways I work with people.
Most of what's on the homepage is the infrastructure assessment work — the core of this practice. This page lays out the fuller picture: consulting, coaching, and education, each run a little differently.
Most engagements are quoted as a fixed project fee or a flat monthly retainer, agreed once we've talked through the scope together — that's the number you'll see before anything starts. A few services are naturally suited to hourly, per-session, or contract pricing instead, and those are billed that way rather than squeezed into a project shape that doesn't fit them.
Branch 01
IT & GRC Consulting Services
Small & mid-size businesses (SMB) — remote delivery, project or retainer.
Fractional IT Director / vCISO
Ongoing, part-time executive IT and security leadership — the strategy, budget, risk, and vendor calls a full-time hire would normally own, delivered on a recurring cadence.
GRC Advisory & Framework Mapping
Mapping current practices to a recognized governance, risk, and compliance framework (NIST, CIS) and building the roadmap to close the gaps it surfaces.
Compliance Readiness (SOX/GDPR)
Getting documentation, controls, and evidence in order ahead of a SOX or GDPR audit, so the audit confirms readiness instead of finding it.
IT Infrastructure Assessment
A focused, time-boxed review of the current environment — network, cloud, identity, vendors — that ends in a decision-ready report, not a data dump.
IT Policy Development
Drafting the IT and security policies most orgs need but haven't written yet: acceptable use, data handling, incident response, and the rest.
Cloud Oversight (AWS/Azure)
Recurring architecture review and cost governance for an existing cloud environment, catching drift and spend creep before they become a crisis.
Vendor & Contract Advisory
On-demand review of vendor contracts, SLAs, and renewal terms, so a client doesn't get boxed into a bad deal at renewal time. This is not legal advice; this is technology coaching especially if there is overlap.
Cyber Insurance Readiness
Shoring up security posture and documentation so a client qualifies for cyber insurance coverage and doesn't overpay for it.
Branch 02
Technology Life Coaching Services
Professionals, managers, and households navigating a tech-driven change — virtual delivery.
1:1 Coaching Package (6–8 wks)
A focused stretch of one-on-one sessions to work through a specific technology transition — a new role, a new tool, a household move to new systems.
Group Coaching Cohort
A small cohort working through the same technology-change curriculum together, with the accountability and shared perspective that a group brings.
AI Productivity Workshop
A hands-on session on using AI tools well in daily work — where they genuinely help, where they don't, and how to build habits that stick.
'Powered by Tech' Program
A structured multi-week program for building durable technology habits and confidence, rather than solving one problem and moving on.
Consumer Tech Subscription
Ongoing, on-call help with the everyday technology decisions and hiccups households run into — new devices, weird settings, "is this a scam."
Digital Wellness Session
A conversation about screen time, notifications, and attention — building a healthier relationship with the devices already in the house.
Branch 03
Cybersecurity Education Services
Students, seniors, employees, and community groups — in-person delivery.
K–12 School Workshop
An age-appropriate session on staying safe online, built for a single classroom or a school-wide assembly.
School District Partnership
An ongoing relationship delivering cybersecurity education across multiple schools in a district, on a recurring schedule.
College / University Session
A session tailored to the risks students actually face — account security, scams, and safe habits on personal devices.
Senior Living Facility Program
A patient, practical program on recognizing scams and using devices safely, built for a senior audience and its pace.
Community Center / Library
An open community session on everyday digital safety, delivered wherever a community already gathers.
Corporate Security Awareness
A workplace training session that turns security policy into habits employees actually follow.
Not sure which one fits?
That's a fine place to start. A short conversation is usually enough to figure out which of these you really need.
